I dont think we stifle creativity at all. Our schools have so many programs for things taht require creativity. Music, Art, Drama. We have all of those avaliable at our school for those interested. And after school clubs are always encouraged for those who want to be creative. But of course a normal high school is going to concentrate on the jobs that are more avaliable. They need to. But if someone knows they have a true talent for some sort of art, tehre are special schools for them. We dont fight who are kids for, we build specialized schools for them. That is not stifling creativity. Thats encouraging it. We have specific schools desgined for those gifted in art. Of course our public high school are going to focus on things like math, english, and science. Because those thigns are more popular and have more jobs avaliable. Truth be told, there are not very many jobs in the arts. But for people who are truly talented and/or passionate, we have special schools to allow that to grow
